I’ve been helping out in a friend’s pre-school this week — such precious 3 & 4 year olds.
This poem from one of my most favorite poets is on the wall in her school.

“Listen to the MUSTN’TS, child,
Listen to the DON’TS
Listen to the SHOULDN’TS
The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON’TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me–
